福岡で始まったデザインイベント、デザイニング展。第二回目の若手デザイナーを数人集め、大川家具メーカーとのコラボレーション商品を作る、という企画に参加させていただきました。大川家具は、４６０年の歴史のあるハコモノ（箪笥等）で有名な家具産地として栄えた街でしたが、収納一体型のマンションなどの普及で箱の需要が減り、現在では、輸入材などを使い、足ものでもなんでも安く作れる！といったことで主に認知されています。しかし、本来足物は飛騨高山などの他の産地があり、個人的にはその地に根付いた仕事を復活させたいと考えていますので、ハコモノを作る事にこだわりました。置き型としても利用できますが、強度のあるマジックテープシールで壁に取り付ける事ができますので壁に付けても穴をあけることはありません。大切なプロポーズ時も是非。

今回、ハコモノである事と需要、流通と材料リスクが小さなものにポイントを絞り構想を始めました。母達の時代の嫁入りなどで作れば売れたという大川全盛期の話しと、現在の私たちの時代の対比も考えました。多くが変わりましたが、変わらない物に、恋だの愛だの、ってものを発見。婚約指輪を渡さない事には、嫁入り家具は発生しないわけですね？OK,指輪ケースを作りましょう。寸法を出すにあたり、実験的に中央ベット部分を全て、一年＝３６５日／１２ヶ月／一週間ー７日／２４時間／６０秒／といった数字を寸法に落とし込み、板取や金具、材料の無駄を無くす、などに合わせて形が変化していきました。地球上で人間のみが数えているリズムからデザインに落とし込むと、こんな形になりました。プロポーズにも最適ですが複数の指輪を持つ独身族にもよし。φ（ファイ）とは、収納された指輪の断面図を表しています。壁掛けにする事により、玄関や洗面所、壁に穴をあけることのできない家では、クローゼットの裏蓋などに取り付けが可能。傷がつくにも関わらず皿状の物に投げ込んでいた方々、そういう場所にいかがでしょう。


I put importance to be "HAKOMONO" and to meet a demand this time. The point was squeezed to the one with small circulation and material risk and the plan was started. I thought about comparison in the story of the Okawa's glory period like the marriage in my mother's age with our ages, Though many things has changed, I discovered what has not changed is love. Putting out the size, I experimentally dropped all the bed's parts in central to figures like 1year=365 days/12 months/ one week=7day/ 24 hours/ 60 seconds, and they are changed along with the board removing, metal fittings, and the human engineering, etc. The rhythm only human being count on earth is dropped in design, it forms like this shape. The case for ring is best when you ask somebody to marry, but it's also good for a single who has several rings.

Because this case is wall hanging, it is possible to install it in the back of the closet in the house where the hole must not be made on the door, lavatory and walls. For people who threw the rings out to the place like a plate, event if they are damaged, I have a suggestion "How about using this case for that position? "
