外側にサイン
リアルな物は、内側へ。
靴がシューではなく、シューズであることと、
二つのキャラクターが揃わないとなりたたない漢字の存在は、
似ている。

今回のコンセプトの" 鯉" もおなじく、魚と里で構成される。
この二つの要素が一つで鯉という文字になるのである。

Shoes

I designed the sign should be outside, on the other
hand the real things is inside.
We don't say 'a shoe' but shoes, because it always
need a pair.

the construction of the a pair of shoes looks exactly
similar to one of Chinese character. Normally Chinese
characters are composed of a couple of letters which
has certain signs.
For example, the letter 'KOI' has a construction of a
fish and the sound 'Ri' might be meant hometown.
basically a Chinese character has two essential factors
of the meaning and the pronunciation.

Therefore, I put the concept that connotation and the
denotation of the shoes. This is a kind of semiological
approach.
